While everyone at JS Luxury Homes wears many hats to get things done, my favorite hat to wear is that of Selections Coordinator.
Custom homes come with a lot of decisions, and I enjoy being able to simplify the process and guide homeowners in the right direction.
I describe the job as being the middle man between homeowners and the field.
First, I’ll sit down with clients to get an idea of the style they are looking to achieve in their custom home, share Pinterest boards, and get a feel for budget.
Then, we’ll meet with our talented trade partners to select everything from cabinetry and countertops, to tile and toilets. It’s an intimidating task, but working with such great partners makes for a smooth process.
You really get to dive into the details of the home, and create a fully custom product. Things such as grout colors and outlet plate styles may feel like small details for your home, but they make all the difference when things all come together to create a quality product.
From there, I am able to transform that vision into material orders and scopes of work for our field team.
Seeing them work so hard and make a homeowner’s vision become reality is such a special feeling, and I’m so proud to contribute to the JSL team and help make this happen!
